organized by Muttahida Labour Federation (MLF) - Women Workers Union (WWU) in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, 30th April 2010, Lahore. The purpose of seminar was: to highlight the importance of Labour Day, to show solidarity with the International Labour Movement and within Pakistan, to create awareness among the women workers, to produce self confidence among the office bearers and the members of the women workers union – WWU, to highlight the issues of the women workers and to create opportunity for the new leadership of the WWU to come forward.
