held by Centre for Peace and Development Baluchistan-CPD in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, 20th April 2010, Quetta. The aim of the seminar was to provide a platform for promoting democratic dialogue involving important actors and members of civil and political society at provincial and district levels in Baluchistan in regard to the 18th constitutional amendment. It is to guide the opinions and processes regarding the democratic transformation of the existing and potential areas of conflicts towards peaceful resolution. To sensitise opinion as well as decision makers on the need of advocating and stepping up their respective endeavours for strengthening democratic institutions and participatory governance at all levels.
